....to be fat, just goes to show how messed up a lot of womens ideas of beauty are. no wonder eating disorder rates are higher then ever and girls who were once so beautiful starve themselves to look like this.....




it's so sad that it's the judgment of other women that is the cause of this poor self esteem that leads to this . i honestly dont think there is a man alive that would say that lindsay or nicole in the above picture were attractive. in fact i think most men would be repulsed by their skeletal boy-like frames. and compared to them, jessica looks like an absolutely stunning young WOMAN.... i know who i would rather look like. and yes, i agree that maybe it wasn't the best choice of dress for her shape....but thats up to her, and she looks happy, so i hope she continues to wear whatever the hell she wants and doesn't give a crap what all the negative, jealous women say.

I agree with you 110%! Nicole and Lindsay look SICK...

The fact that Jessica received SO much attention for her figure during Dukes (and she did a video in her bikini for goodness sake! ), it shouldn't be a surprise that she would receive attention for losing that figure and gaining weight. I wouldn't call her fat in that picture, but it is clearly evident she is no longer a size 0.

And for all of the concern over eating disorders, I think people talk of them as if 60% of the population were anorexic, whereas in reality more than 60% of America is obese/overweight. Just some food for thought (no pun intended).

TOTALLY AGREE you said it perfectly. I don't think her body looks bad, her body is clearly bangin', but I think she needs to find a way to dress that draws attention to her assets in the right way! She is a celebrity, and celebrities are supposed to look FABULOUS, no?? Beyond that, she is Jessica Simpson, and she has clearly made a name for herself BECAUSE of her body in many ways, so I think she should continue to be held to those standards of looking great, not just "anything goes" because she doesn't care anymore now that she's "found herself".

I'm not meaning to sound harsh, and I am NOT calling her fat, nor do I think it's fair to imply that because someone says a dress is not super flattering on someone, they think that two anorexic girls look better. All I am saying is that celebrities in general, within the realm of being healthy, are obligated to look their best. I don't think Jessica needs to lose weight, I think she needs an effing stylist. That's all.

And one more thing, while I agree that we hold a totally warped sense of size and beauty, I don't think it's right to assume that because Jessica is bigger now, she is healthier than she was before. She could be chowing down on Big Macs all day and never excersizing for all we know! I know everyone is going to go crazy when I say this, but she has a petite frame, and I think it's silly to assume that she is necessarily healthier now with so much more weight on her than she was before. All I am saying is that healthy is whatever size your body falls when you are eating right and leading an active lifestyle, not a euphemism for curves. JMO.

Agreed, everyone wears something that looks bad on them sometimes.

girls, okay jess want to defend that you want but can not deny that she is fat and does not need to be re-The Dukes of Hazzard, but at least get a few pounds to be better ... ... to others can not use it .... so tight dresses are ugly!
I believe that the culprit of all this is Tony, because he has said many times that he likes women with curves, and thus to give jess fattening in taste to tony.

I'm going to show you FAT. Since you don't seem to know what it really looks like, okay. Yes, Jessica is NOT as small as she was in Duke's but that was YEARS ago, you can't expect her to be that SMALL her whole life. When people get older their bodies change and it's harder to keep it off. And does it ever occur to you that maybe she doesn't WANT to be that small? She's happy now, she has someone who loves her and he's fine with the way she looks and so is a lot of other people. But here is FAT!

That is two different pictures from different days. Taken NO time before the pics above and she doesn't look "FAT" in those pictures she couldn't have gotten "FAT" in a few days. There that's all I have to say, some people need to have their eyes checked.

her face looks very pretty but her body looks awfull
she needs to wear clothes that makes her looks skinnier and not as wide
not trying 2 be mean, (i lov her) but she does looks fat with that dress it makes her belly atrack to much attention
