just remember, you get what you pay for. steer away from glue in ones - it will ruin your hair. the more expensive it is, the more natural it will look and the less likely it is to ruin your hair.

Def go for it!

ive been getting and fitting hair extensions for 4 years. I am totally addicted.

If done properly no method of extensions will ruin your hair. The glue method will only damage your hair if you pick them out and pull at them a bit like nail extensions.

hair extensions should also be repositioned or taken out every 3 months. If not your own hair will matt and tangle underneath

I've never had my hair extension in for 5 months (I also have bleach blonde hair). I think the longest mine have lasted is a little over 3 months. I LOVE my hair when they are in. If you brush your hair carefully and don't get conditioner up by the bonds they should last a good while. You might have to go in after a month and a half to get a few new pieces added in. I think they are worth it, just make sure you research the hair the hair dresser uses. That completely makes a difference.

i heard that the sew in extensions are the best, my friend had the glue ones and her hair was falling out - plus she was picking glue out of her hair months after.

i say go for the clip in ones. Thats what i do so i don't always have to have super long hair and i love them!!!! It was about $350 for human hair and you can wash/dry/curl/straighten, even die them! They're wonderful ;)

Hi-

I go to a salon in Milford, MA. It is called Mac Med Spa. They do hair extensions. They use real human hair (needs to be ordered) and they use a method that doesn't ruin your natural hair. Depending on how careful you are when you brush/comb your hair, that will determine how often you will need to go back for a touch up.

They use strips of hair, that get clipped in w/ tiny little clamps. Lauren Conrad actually has had the same type put in.

Ask for Rebecca @ Mac she is awesome and they are awesome. I love mine. I will wear em for weeks and weeks, and decide I want them out, and take them out, put them in, switch it up and they are never ruined, and always look great when they are in. This pic is of Lauren getting the same hair extensions.

^^ So you can clip them in and out yourself? Do you have to go to the salon to have them put in then or can you just order them and do them on your own? I'd love to get extentions, but only for certain times so I'm just really hesitant to have them done where they get glued or sewn in.
