Hey girls,

So I need black boots, that look like uggs, but I dont I am on a major budget and don't want to spend the 180$

What do you girls think of the "fake" Uggs, like the brand Emu or something?

I don't mind them at all, I have both the UGGS and the knock-offs and they are both warm and soft and comfy. It's all up to personal preference though, if you're one of those people who doesn't like knock-off or replica purses than you should probably get the real UGGS but if it doesn't matter either way to you then definitely go for the "fake" UGGS. Besides, you'll wear them all the time, in rain and snow, so they'll eventually get dirty (you could always scotch guard them but I've never done it so I don't know how well that works).

i don't mind them either. Actually, they have some black ones at Wet Seal for $26. Also, if you have a Marshalls, they had some there for $19.99. These are both the cardi uggs, like the sweater version. The other version is everywhere, like Target...

EMU is a great alternative. I have both Uggs and Emu and you cant tell any difference but the label on the back!

I've actually never had a "real" pair of uggs! I could never justify spending the money on something like I was gonna walk in dirt, rain, snow, etc! The only thing I've heard of Uggs being better is that you don't have to wear socks? If you don't wear socks with the "fake" ones they will smell so bad cuz your feet DO sweat at times! Ive always worn socks cuz I wouldn't be comfy without them but! I also find that I tend to buy a new pair pretty much every year! I'm sure if I had Uggs I probably wouldn't have to do that! But I don't see a real difference other then tag and price

Target has boots that look like UGGs, that are really good quality!! I have real UGGs and I bought the ones from Target.
