I had a friend who tried them about a year ago and every time she ate something that the pill didn't "agree" with, she would get really sick. On the other hand, I know someone else who tried them and they seemed to work out well for her with no side effects really, so I'm not too sure about them.

i tried them for about a month and they always made me really sick. even though i ate really healthy food, my body just reacted really bad to them.
my mom's best friend took them and lost almost 60 lbs. she changed her entire life to lose the weight though. you really have to dedicate yourself to them...

what happens with alli is that it blocks some of the fat you eat from absorbing into your body. because of this, when you eat fatty foods, the pills block your body from absorbing it so you end up getting diarrhea. my sister took the prescription dosage of alli and she still ate really fatty foods. the diarrhea got so bad that it would come out if she laughed or sneezed. sorry for being graphic

My mom took them for about a year and she didnt notice that much of a difference even with diet and excercise. It is true what you said though..it causes 'digestive issues' when you eat greasy, fatty foods.

the diarrhea will/should only happen if you eat more then the 15g of fat in a single meal like it says. 15g is quite a lot if you pick the right foods....but some foods are really high fat that you wouldn't think of...it really makes you read labels and educate yourself. if you do that and follow the guidelines it seems to work. mu mum has been taking it six week religiously and following the rules, has had NO side effects and has lost 16lbs. if you decide to have a reallt fat high meal (takeaway or something) you just dont take a tablet and you and then the next meal when you are back on track you do take a tablet. it is supposed to be for overweight people you are dieting anyway and it should help make you lose an extra pound for every 2 pounds you lose through dieting anyway. so it is only for people actively dieting in the first place. but if you are dieting and losing weight this would definetly help speed up your progress. i know a few other people who are using it and any of them that are actually following the guidelines and dieting are getting great results.

just like with anything, everyone will react differently and everyone will have their own opinion. if i was you, i'd try buying them on ebay for cheap and then that way i wont feel guilty for spending the money if they dont work or if i dont like them.

I look Alli for a while. It didn't seem to really work for me. I only had bad side effects when I ate something that I shouldn't. When I ate low fat, I didn't even realize I was taking it.
I know this is terrible, but I started taking 2 Alli at a time to see if that would make it work better and I didnt notice a difference then either. 2 Alli equal RX strength.
